I began selling art online, this was an experimental time with Woodcuts, but also many Landscape Scenes, Magical Trees, the introduction of Halloween, Vegas, Carnival, Hawaiian Tiki, Surfing, and Tropical Fish. I would then spend the next 5 years producing the largest amount of paintings ever in my lifetime till 2008, crash of the economy. Over 2500 paintings sold worldwide. Many of these pieces can be found on the archive at www.BjorkArtStudio.com. The importance of these pieces at the time, was self teaching myself many techniques, styles, and scene backdrops, being a colorist as one of my best strengths. The difference from my other work is work in the transition from surreal, to post impressionism. My goal has always been to stay a surreal artist. It's always difficult when a collection or series is finished, much like the Beanie Baby days, and life... all good things must come to an end.
